ABOUT ME

I have had dreams about Montana since I was a little. Being born in Cheyenne, WY made me think I was an honorary cowgirl (since it’s know as the cowboy state, right??), even though I grew up in Tacoma, WA. In college, I dreamed of working on dude ranches during the summer. At a nursing school job fair in Seattle, I talked to a Montana hospital recruiter and used the keychain they gave me for years. It wasn’t until we moved to Billings, MT 11 years later that I realized that keychain was from the hospital in town that I now worked at.

I began sewing in middle school with my mom, and slowly progressed over the years from the first quilt I stitched by hand, to making my own clothes and then Halloween costumes for my 2 children. After working as a nurse for 15 years and making it through the pandemic, I decided to take a break and try my hand at longarm quilting. I am new to the longarm game, and am so excited at all the possibilities this business brings.

A Fiber Runs Through It encompasses my dreams of Montana, and the thread that held those dreams together. I love all things crafting, knitting, enjoying the outdoors, and being with my family. Thank you for your time and I pray that this journey together will bring us many warm quilts that will help us as we weave tales through our quilts that tell the story of our lives.
